Tucked away in a rooftop garden in Downtown Los Angeles, Jenny + Jimmy celebrated their union with their closest family and friends. When I first met the couple, I could tell Jimmy was just as excited to plan their big day as Jenny did. Since they are really close to their family and wanted an intimate affair, they incorporated plenty of personal details. They used their birth stones; amethyst and emerald as the color theme and had Jenny’s big brother be the best man and her best friend as the man of honor-how neat!
On another note, as I was on my way to photograph J+J’s wedding, I passed by a huge ivy-covered wall and modern industrial building and somehow those spots stuck with me. I knew this would be a perfect spot to take some portraits so I asked if we could move the wedding party session down the street. Normally, a wedding venue is already beautifully decorated for any photo session but sometimes (when time permits) one must be a little adventurous in order to produce some good art!
A big thanks to the very talented team below for throwing a fantastic celebration!
