We woke up to a beautifully warm summer’s morning when the light was barely rising over the granite walls and the campers and crowds were all still sound asleep. It was the best time to take a stroll in Cooks Meadow and walk on rocks in the Merced River!

On our way into the woods we stopped by Tunnel View to take in the famous panorama of Yosemite Valley. With views of El Capitan and Half Dome, we couldn’t help but want to stay in that spot for as long as there was light. It was such a picture perfect moment and my heart still skips a beat when I think about that place and that view.
Susan & Cuong wanted to share their vowels near where they were staying so that they could come back to the exact spot with their future children. We were fortunate to find a clearing that had a few trees that were lightly dusted with the greenest moss to make for a very romantic ceremony. I have to admit, there were times where I wanted to stop and just take in the moment with them but alas I had to work. Ohh woe is me…
Arguably the most spectacular view in the park, we ended our adventure at Glacier Point during sunset. There are no words to describe how it felt to be there, to be able to witness two amazingly sweet people laugh, dance and moon gaze was like being in a dream. We didn’t know the full moon would be out and so when we saw it, oh that moment was priceless. It was the biggest moon of the year!!!
